Job summary

Seton Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking full-time Licensed Physical Therapist Assistants to join our in-house therapy team. This role centers on delivering comprehensive, plan-guided treatments to residents under PT supervision.

You will document progress, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and participate in resident care planning to enhance quality of life through optimal care. A current PTA license is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold current license/registration as Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Experience documenting progress and following state guidelines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of a PT.
• Document progress in daily treatment notes and complete required documentation.
• Document treatments and follow up with interdisciplinary team members for best practice.
• Implement and conduct treatment as outlined in the treatment plan.
• Monitor treatments as indicated by physician orders.
• Participate in implementation of resident care plans.
• Work with interdisciplinary team to improve residents' quality of life by providing optimal care and addressing care plans.

Physical Therapist Assistant Job Responsibilities

• The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT according to state practice guidelines.
• The Physical Therapy assistant will document progress in daily treatment notes and complete all required documentation as indicated by state guidelines.
• Document their treatments and follow up with interdisciplinary team members for best practice.
• Implement and conduct treatment as outlined in the treatment plan.
• Physical Therapy Assistant will monitor their treatments as indicated by the physician orders.
• Participate in implementation of resident care plans.
• Will work with interdisciplinary team to improve residents quality of life by providing optimal care and address care plans.

Education/Experience

• Must provide current license and/or registration as Physical Therapist Assistant.
