$10,000 Sign-on Bonus! Full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) position available in sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department in New Milford, CT.

About Candlewood Valley Health and Rehab

Candlewood Valley Health and Rehab is a busy sub-acute/skilled nursing facility where you would work with the geriatric population and see a good mix of short-term and long-term care patients. We have a dedicated 30-bed short-term rehab unit, 2 long-term care units, and a secured dementia unit. Scheduling allows for flexible and accommodating hours. Our rehab center is well regarded within the community.

Requirements and Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive, team-working environment
• Possess a current Physical Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
• Work well with others in a team setting
• Be flexible with hours

Good Faith Rate Range: $30/hr - $38/hr
