  • Rate: Travel: $1,533/35-hours; Local: $1,509/35-hours

Requirements:
  • Valid and active Physical Therapy Assistant State license

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating patients, gathering medical history, and assessing goals.
  • Carry out prescribed interventions and exercises to enhance patients' mobility, strength, and flexibility.
  • Administer modalities and use therapeutic equipment for patient rehabilitation.
  • Instruct patients in exercise programs and techniques to improve physical function and well-being.
  • Educate patients and families on exercise and home programs for recovery.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments and progress.
  • Collaborate with the Physical Therapist and healthcare team to coordinate care and discuss treatment plans.
  • Adhere to safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic therapy environment.
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients as they work toward their physical therapy goals.
