Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • PTA State License in California
  • CPR Certification (Required)
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with the Doctor of Physical Therapy and Aides to ensure the highest level of patient care and management for all Physical Therapy Patients, including but not limited to:
    • Therapeutic Exercises (and advancement)
    • Manual Treatment
    • Proper Modality Interventions
    • TENS Distribution for appropriate patients
    • Coordinate with DPT for assigning Home Exercise Programs
  • Utilize WebPT Reach to develop and assign HEP for each patient and coordinate with Aides for instruction of HEP.
  • Operate under the supervision and direction of the Doctor of Physical Therapy of record and maintain communication with them during patient treatment.
  • After evaluation by the DPT of record, collect and document data, administer standard tests, and take measurements related to patient status, including but not limited to:
    • Daily Notes
    • Progress Reports
    • Discharges
    • Patient Compliance
  • Document in the patient record any change in the patient's condition not within the planned progress or treatment goals, and any change in the patient's general condition.
  • Complete all patient-related tasks assigned by the DPT of record.
  • Provide thorough direction and information about therapy for patients, addressing their questions and concerns.
