Job description

Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Our Rehabilitation Clinic in Hammonton, NJ, is seeking a motivated and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and illnesses affecting their mobility. As a PTA, you will provide treatment under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for patients. You will also educate patients and their families about exercises and treatments.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Assess and evaluate patient needs with the Physical Therapy team and develop treatment plans.
2. Implement exercises and treatments as prescribed by the Physical Therapist.
3. Provide one-on-one treatment, aiding patients in exercises and activities.
4. Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Physical Therapist.
5. Educate patients and families on exercises and treatment plans outside of the clinic.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in New Jersey.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with patients.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, patient-focused attitude.
