Southwestern Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is excited to welcome a dedicated and caring PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to our in-house therapy team! If you’re passionate about helping others and want to work in a supportive, collaborative environment, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do:

As a PTA at Southwestern, you’ll play an important role in helping our residents reach their fullest potential. Under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will:

• Provide skilled physical therapy services and interventions as ordered by the physician
• Assist in developing and modifying personalized treatment plans
• Measure and record residents’ motor function, strength, and muscle performance
• Monitor residents’ responses during treatment and make adjustments as needed
• Observe residents’ progress and document detailed progress notes
• Relay information and referrals to the supervising Physical Therapist
