Responsibilities

• Provide delegated PTA interventions under supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Record treatments and note progress in medical records.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to increase resident independence.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide accurate and timely billing records and documentation.
• Coordinate and provide training with Restorative Nursing and other staff.
• Educate and train patients, caregivers, and community partners.
• Ensure compliance with mandatory education, training, and competence programs.
• Perform screening rounds to assess client needs and environmental safety.
• Provide recommendations for business improvement or safety updates.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house team at Tampico Healthcare Center in Walnut Creek, CA! As a PTA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality physical therapy interventions to our residents, working closely with our Physical Therapist to ensure the highest degree of quality care.

Key Responsibilities
