Job summary

Iva Post Acute in Iva, SC, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Therapy Team. This full-time role supports residents in a warm, family-oriented 60-bed setting.

You will assist the Physical Therapist, help residents improve mobility and independence, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Requirements include a PTA degree and SC licensure; prior fast-paced healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a Physical Therapist Assistant degree from an accredited college or university.
• Active, unencumbered South Carolina PTA license.
• Experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting is preferred.
• Strong heart for serving others and helping residents thrive.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist with treatment plans and patient care.
• Provide treatments to inpatient and outpatient clients.
• Help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, and independence.
• Encourage and motivate residents through their rehab journey.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.
• Celebrate resident progress and achievements daily.
