Job summary

Iva Post Acute in South Carolina is seeking a energetic Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Therapy Team on a PRN basis. This 60-bed skilled nursing and rehab community values warmth, teamwork, and compassionate care while offering an hourly rate of $35.

As a PTA, you will assist the Physical Therapist with treatment plans, provide care to inpatient and outpatient clients, and help residents improve mobility, strength, balance and independence.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist Assistant Degree from an accredited college/university.
• Active, unencumbered South Carolina PTA license.
• Experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting preferred.
• A heart for serving others and helping residents thrive.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist with treatment plans and patient care.
• Provide treatments to both inpatient and outpatient clients.
• Help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, and independence.
• Encourage and motivate residents through their rehab journey.
• Work alongside an awesome interdisciplinary team.
• Celebrate resident progress and victories every day.
