Job Summary: The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) will deliver direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT). Responsibilities include documenting treatments, patient condition changes, and other relevant information.

PTA Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to alleviate pain, enhance function, and promote healing.
2. Provide skilled interventions following physician orders under PT supervision.
3. Respond to service requests by relaying information and referrals to the Physical Therapist.
4. Implement and adjust treatment plans with PT oversight.
5. Measure and record motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
6. Monitor patient responses and modify treatments as appropriate, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
7. Educate patients, families, and caregivers about clinical care.
8. Ensure thorough and timely documentation complying with all regulations.
9. Attend meetings as required by the Director of Rehab.
