Job summary

Maybrook Hills Rehab is seeking a dedicated PTA to join our Therapy Team under the supervision of a PT, delivering tailored exercise programs and mobility support to residents.

The ideal candidate will have graduated from an accredited PTA program, hold a current state PTA license, and prefer experience in long-term care. You will document motor function and progress, educate residents, and uphold confidentiality and compliance with all regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program (required).
• Current State PTA license (required).
• Experience in long-term-care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record Residents' motor function, strength and muscle performance.
• Observe Residents and write progress reports.
• Assist Residents in carrying out specific exercises.
• Treat Residents with stretching, massage and other techniques.
• Help Residents use necessary equipment and devices.
• Educate Residents on how to exercise properly to strengthen muscle and mobility.
• Maintain Residents' confidence by keeping information confidential.
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Contribute to the therapy team efforts and goals.
