Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-facility rehabilitation team. You will implement prescribed therapy programs, deliver treatments, and work under the direction of the Director of Rehab to help patients restore function and improve quality of life.

As a PTA, you will respond to patient needs, support the care plan, and collaborate with clinicians across disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care and smooth transitions across settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy programs and activities according to developed recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments to patients.
• Collaborate with rehab team to provide holistic patient care and referrals when needed.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will implement physical therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.

You are a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work. You’re equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. You know your goal is to execute a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities. You’re adaptable to the needs of the patient and can find joy in the variety of the work and the settings.
