Job summary

Powerback Rehab to You in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to implement therapy programs in facility-based care. You will follow recovery plans, deliver treatments, and help patients regain function while supporting a holistic, compassionate approach to care.

The role requires completion of an accredited PTA program and state licensure or eligibility, with opportunities for mentorship, CEU access, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.
• Address the whole patient and tailor care to individual goals and needs.
• Collaborate with peers and refer patients when additional care is required to promote thriving recovery.
• Provide care in a caring, compassionate atmosphere focused on high-quality service.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will implement physical therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.

You're a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.

You're equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. You know your goal is to execute a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities.

You're adaptable to the needs of the patient and can find joy in the variety of the work and the settings.
