Responsibilities of Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA):

• Provide skilled therapeutic intervention and services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Follow all regulations and guidelines including compliance with confidentiality and HIPPA.
• Adheres to discussed scheduled hours and professionally conducts themselves at all times.
• Provide documentation of patient’s condition, and provide caregiver/patient education as appropriate.
• Regularly discuss with the supervising Physical Therapist the patient’s progress and any concerns or guidance needed.
• Ensure safe treatment practices and monitor patients’ engagement and responses to treatment modifications as necessary.

Qualifications for Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA):

• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license
