Job summary

Cypress Ridge Care Center is seeking a motivated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in California. Under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will assist in delivering therapeutic services to enhance mobility and independence for residents.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, guiding exercises, documenting progress, and educating residents and families.

Qualifications

• California PTA license required
• Experience in skilled nursing facility preferred but not required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist
• Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities
• Accurately document resident progress in compliance with policies and regulations
• Educate residents and families on prescribed exercises and safety practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support care goals
