Baylor Rehabilitation is looking for a Full Time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our Mesquite Outpatient clinic and help cover our multi-discipline clinic!
Seeking full time physical therapist assistant to join a growing team. Clinic hours vary by day but we would prefer a candidate who is able to provide consistent hours as we are growing. Busy ortho practice in Mesquite needing a PTA to treat general ortho population, spine disorders, and work comp patients. Spanish speaking skills are a big plus. Clinic culture is fun, upbeat, friendly and energetic. Currently have 6 PTs.

ResponsibilitiesUnder the direct supervision of a licensed PT, assists with the implementation of the therapy plan of care. Responsible for delegation and direction of supportive personnel for those assigned patients, in order to enhance patient care services. Consistently communicates with supervising PT in regard to scheduled patients to ensure identification of need for assessment and reassessment of patients, modification of treatment plans and other interventions requiring therapist direction. Participates in education of patients, families, students, coworkers and self. Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, within the scope of practice.
