Job Summary: The Physical Therapist Assistant will help Physical Therapists provide physical therapy treatments and procedures.

Responsibilities include:

  • Instructing, motivating, safeguarding, and assisting patients during exercises and activities.
  • Observing patient responses and progress, providing data to the physical therapist.
  • Collaborating with staff and communicating with caregivers and families about treatment plans.
  • Transporting and positioning patients, securing them for therapy.
  • Administering therapeutic exercises, massage, aquatic therapy, and modalities like ultrasound.
  • Measuring joint motion, vital signs, and recording treatment data.
  • Monitoring equipment and documenting usage and treatment administration.
  • Fitting patients with braces, prostheses, and supportive devices.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of patient care for SNF populations.

Education and Experience:
