HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to help improves patients' mobility and independence under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

You will deliver personalized therapeutic techniques, document patient progress in the EMR, and collaborate with therapists, nurses and care teams to support discharge planning and optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• An associate degree or equivalent in Physical Therapy Assisting is required.
• Ability to assist PTs with patient mobility and activity progression.
• Excellent communication with patients, families and care teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized PT interventions to restore mobility and independence.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in EMR.
• Collaborate with supervising PTs, nurses and other staff to support discharge planning.
