Job summary

Highland Springs is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our growing post-acute care team. You will partner with licensed physical therapists to establish treatment plans, guide patients through exercises, and help improve mobility and independence for our residents.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• VA PTA license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred in PTA or related field.

Responsibilities

• Establish treatment plans and treat patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Use exercises, stretching, and hands-on therapy to help patients achieve rehabilitation goals.
• Work with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

About the Role:

As a PTA, you'll work closely with our experienced physical therapy team to establish treatment plans and treat patients using a variety of methods, including exercises, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and equipment. Your goal will be to ease patients' pain, increase their mobility, and help them regain their independence.
