Job summary

Nashville Center For Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our geriatric care team in a skilled nursing facility in Hendersonville, TN. The PTA will assist the PT with therapies to improve mobility and reduce pain, while supporting residents’ overall fitness and wellness.

You must be licensed in Tennessee and capable of evaluating and treating independently under supervision as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Physical Therapy Assistant license for the practicing state.
• SNF experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision.
• Experience performing functional activities for geriatric residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Support residents' overall fitness and wellness in a skilled nursing setting.
• Contribute to care plans and document progress.

Physical Therapy Assistant Full-Time

Looking for a full time talented and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.
