Job summary

Reedy River Post Acute in Greenville, SC is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for full-time, on-site work under a licensed Physical Therapist. You will deliver skilled services to help residents improve mobility, strength, and independence while supporting overall quality of life.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited PTA program with experience in skilled nursing or rehab. PCC and Casamba experience are preferred, and strong communication and documentation skills are

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred.
• Experience with PCC and Casamba preferred.
• Strong communication, clinical, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans according to physician orders and therapy goals.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist.
• Document treatment sessions, resident responses, and progress notes accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members to support positive resident outcomes.
• Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education.
• Participate in care conferences and team meetings as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations.
• Support residents in achieving their highest level of function and independence.

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Working under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will provide skilled therapy services that help residents improve mobility, strength, function, and independence while enhancing their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred
• Strong communication, clinical, and documentation skills

Licenses & Certifications

• Current South Carolina Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing
• Must maintain all required continuing education requirements
• Must remain in good standing with the State Board
