Position Summary

The primary purpose of your job is to return patients to optimal physical function and facilitate achievement of patient, physician, and therapy goals. Follow all health, sanitary, and infection control policies and maintain standards of practice set by the community’s administration and Policies and Procedures.

Education & Responsibilities
  • Hold an Associate’s Degree from an accredited college and a current, valid license from the state of employment.
  • Treat residents under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
  • Maintain accurate records on all residents on caseload.
  • Keep the Physical Therapist and other health team members informed of residents’ progress and changes in function.
  • Modify treatment programs only under the direction of the licensed PT.
Experience
  • Previous experience in long-term care is preferred but not required.
