Facility: Park Avenue Extended Care

Location: Long Beach, New York

Shift: Full-Time | Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Salary: $33 - $37 per hour

Park Avenue Extended Care is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our full-time rehab team. You'll work closely with physical therapists to help residents regain strength, mobility, and independence in a supportive and collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Physical Therapist in delivering individualized, effective therapy sessions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped therapy area.
  • Follow all infection control and safety protocols, using PPE when necessary.
  • Report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly.
  • Adhere to facility guidelines, including professional conduct and appearance.
Requirements:
  • Education: Completion of a 2-year accredited college program for Physical Therapy Assistants.
  • Licensure: Current, unrestricted New York State PTA license.
  • Experience: Experience in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting is preferred.
