Qualifications

  • Licensed PTA in Colorado (CO) per state regulations and DORA.
  • Experience in outpatient settings preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques.
  • Experience with specialized treatments and prescribing exercise.
  • Familiarity with plan of care integration for diverse patient populations and chronicity.
  • Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain accurate documentation and patient safety.

Responsibilities

  • Assist DPT in implementing individualized care plans for patients of all ages with musculoskeletal pain.
  • Perform therapeutic procedures and exercise therapies to promote healing and mobility.
  • Monitor patient progress and document responses to treatment in medical records.
  • Educate patients and families on physiotherapy techniques, injury prevention and discharge planning.
  • Coordinate care by communicating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of treatment.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terms, anatomy, physiology, and physiotherapy principles.
