Job summary

Powerback, part of Genesis HealthCare, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for in-facility care. You will implement PT programs, follow recovery plans, and deliver treatments to help patients regain function. Collaboration with the rehab team is essential to provide high-quality, compassionate service across diverse settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy programs and activities and follow recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments and address the whole patient.
• Collaborate with the rehab team to restore and enhance physical abilities.
• Adapt to patient needs and different care settings.
• Refer patients to increase care as appropriate.

Education

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will implement physical therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.

You are adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. Your goal is to execute a program that restores, reinforces, and enhances their physical abilities.

You are adaptable to the needs and can find joy in the variety of the work and the settings.

You are a teammate, collaborating with peers, and can refer patients to increase care.

You put patients first ensuring they and their families receive high quality, compassionate service.
