FMOL Health in Mississippi seeks a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant to support licensed PTs in delivering patient-centered care. You will assist with testing, evaluations, procedures, and carry out treatment plans designed by the PT, while teaching patients and families the required exercises and safety measures.
Strong communication with supervising PTs, accurate record-keeping, and ability to adapt care for diverse ages from infants to geriatrics are essential.
Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, provides physical therapy treatment as established by the Physical Therapist to meet specific measurable goals. Reports to Clinical Coordinator.
Education: Associate's degree and graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program required.
Experience: Prior training or experience in related environment is preferred.
Special Skills: Employee must demonstrate ability to recognize patients' individual needs based on medical conditions, age (infants, pediatrics, adolescents, young adults, middle-aged and geriatric), limitations and planned procedures.
License/Cert: Must be certified as a PTA. Mississippi state licensure as required.
