Physical Therapy Assistant, PRN, First Shift, Physical Therapy

UC Health is hiring a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for the Physical Therapy department for the first shift at the UC Medical Center.

The Physical Therapy Assistant will evaluate, plan, and implement Physical Therapy treatment programs for referred patients to restore function, prevent disability, reduce pain, and maximize patient recovery. They will follow hospital department policies related to documentation, attendance, and education, and will demonstrate respect and courtesy to all staff, patients, and visitors.

Responsibilities include implementing physical therapy treatment plans designed by licensed physical therapists to restore function, prevent disability, reduce pain, and facilitate patient discharge from acute care. The assistant will assist in treatment progression and adhere to organizational and departmental policies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Required: Associate's Degree from an APTA-credentialed Physical Therapy curriculum
  • Licensed by the State of Ohio as a Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Certified in CPR
  • Preferred: 1-2 years of relevant experience
