Under the supervision of the Director of Rehab Services and Physical Therapist, provide various methods of Physical Therapy according to patient treatment plans. Serve as a resource for PTs, PT Assistants, and PT Aides.

Minimum Education

Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program.

Minimum Work Experience

Previous experience in Physical Therapy preferred.

Required Licenses/Certifications

Eligible for or licensed by the Texas Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or an equivalent approved program.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Knowledge of regulations, QA, procedures, and quality patient care. Ability to treat patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric. Completion of department-specific and hospital-required training courses.
