Physical Therapy Assistant - PRN Brentwood Terrace Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center

Join our team at Creative Solutions In HealthCare as a Per Diem (PRN) Physical Therapy Assistant in Brentwood Terrace Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated PTA to provide person-centered care to our residents, helping achieve positive health outcomes.

Responsibilities

1. Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, restore function, and promote healing.
2. Provide skilled interventions under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, following physician orders.
3. Respond to service requests, relay information, and refer to Physical Therapists as needed.
4. Implement and modify treatment plans with PT supervision.
5. Measure and record patient motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
6. Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments accordingly in collaboration with IDT.
7. Educate patients, families, and caregivers about therapy processes.
8. Ensure thorough and timely documentation compliant with regulations.
9. Attend meetings as required by the Director of Rehab.

Skills and Qualifications

• Preferred experience in SNF/Long-term care settings.
• Knowledge of current treatment practices.
• Familiarity with Net Health Electronic Documentation System is a plus.
• Ability to manage patients with diverse personalities.
