Job summary

Every time.**## **SUMMARY**Under the direction of a registered Physical Therapist, utilizes Physical Therapy skills to assist in treatment of all referred patients of all age populations, and is responsible for completion of all necessary documentation. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principals of growth and development and assess data reflective of the patient's current status in relation to their age specific needs.**JOB QUALIFICATIONS****Education:** Graduate of an accredited program for Physical Therapy Assistant.**Licensure:** Registered PTA, or eligible for license in the State of Georgia.**Experience:** May be a new graduate.**Skills:** BLS CPR. May be required to work a flexible schedule. Exposure to hazardous chemicals and equipment found in a typical therapy setting. Rotates weekend/holiday coverage for Department.**PHYSICAL AND MENTAL EFFORT**Required to display characteristics consistent with registration requirements and ethical practice in Physical Therapy. Frequent lifting, bending and reaching required. Substantial amount of walking required. Moderate amount of stress.
