Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will perform treatments on assigned patients as established by the physical therapist on the plan of care and direct and supervise physical therapy technicians in conjunction with the physical therapist.

What you will do in this role:

  • Utilize appropriate, sound, and current treatment techniques to effectively assess and treat patients while maintaining accurate and timely documentation.
  • Exemplify outstanding customer service and act in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
  • Efficient use of resources to achieve optimum productivity within the established service budget.
  • Abide by departmental and hospital policies and procedures, HIPAA, and all regulatory standards.
  • Assist physical therapists according to the plan of care in treating impairments of rehab patients.
What qualifications you will need:
  • Associates Degree - Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Current Georgia Licensure in Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support
