Position Summary:

We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to provide direct rehab care in physical therapy to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT). As a PTA, you will be responsible for implementing treatment plans, providing patient education, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (ASPT)
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
• One (1) year experience in post-acute care or related setting preferred
• Must have CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail

Specific Job Requirements:

• Participate in community health matters/projects as appropriate
• Liaison with patients, families, and support departments to adequately plan for patient needs
• Demonstrate good body mechanics at all times
• Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post-acute care facility
• Ability to implement and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
