Job summary

Qualified candidates hold a California PTA license and current BLS certification, with eligibility to sit for the CA licensure exam. Strong computer skills with Excel/Word are preferred.

The primary responsibility of the Physical Therapist Assistant I is to provide direct patient care under the direction of a qualified Physical Therapist upon physician referral.

Required Experience

Required:

• Must have and maintain current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
• For candidates eligible to take the California state examination for Physical Therapist Assistant Licensure, employment is contingent on passing the exam
• Must maintain a current California Physical Therapist Assistant License during employment

Preferred:

• Spanish speaking preferred
• Basic computer knowledge of Work and Excel
