Job summary

Kaweah Health in Visalia, CA seeks a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our Therapies team. Pay range for this role is $33.27–$49.90 per hour, with day shifts and a commitment to high-quality patient care within our eight-campus district.

Qualifications

• CA Physical Therapy Assistant certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• If assigned to Home Health, a valid California Driver's License and auto insurance are required.

Responsibilities

• Pass an annual competency assessment conducted by a physical/occupational therapist.
• Complete documentation in a timely manner with clear progress toward functional goals.
• Plan and implement individual treatment programs according to physician orders and supervising therapist.
• Train patients and caregivers regarding daily care needs and functional activities.
• Secure and adjust equipment; complete daily charges; participate in continuing education.
• Ensure services are age-appropriate and meet regulatory requirements; attend department meetings.
