Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide patient treatment under the supervision of a Physical Therapist across the full age range, from infants to geriatric patients, at our Cleveland campus.

Qualified candidates will hold an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting, an active Ohio PTA license, and a current BLS certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire); preferred: at least one year of PTA experience.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting (required).
• Current Ohio Physical Therapy Assistant license (required).
• BLS certification or able to obtain within 90 days of hire (required).
• Preferred: at least one year of PTA experience in the previous twelve months.

Responsibilities

• Under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist, assumes responsibility for patient treatment across ages from infants to geriatrics.
• Contributes to patient safety and assists with gait training and exercise programs.
