As a Physical Therapy Assistant in the Rehabilitation department supporting Scripps Mercy Hospital you will bring your excellent communication skills to creatively solve problems every day. The ideal candidate is confident in the acute care environment and ready to jump in to support our teams in their mission to provide world-class patient care.

The Physical Therapy Assistant assists in providing therapy under the supervision of the Physical Therapist who shall be responsible for the extent, kind, and quality of the services of the therapist assistant through a continuum of care. This work is performed according to the assistant's licensure / certification, Code of Ethics, Federal / State regulations, JCAHO / UMQC and Care Center policies and procedures. As a Physical Therapist Assistant you will demonstrate the ability to perform competencies as outlined in Rehabilitation Services Competency Assessment tools and provide age specific care as established for area and job title.
