Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current active and unrestricted PTA licensure/certification.
• Experience in health care or outpatient rehabilitation preferred.
• Good physical stamina and excellent interpersonal/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and maintains health by providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a physical therapist.
• Administers treatment programs for patients and documents care in charts.
• Assists patients with exercises, mobility activities, and use of devices.
• Instructs and counsels patients on regimens, growth, development, and wellness.
• Maintains safe, clean clinical environment and adheres to infection-control policies.
