Jaffe Sports Medicine is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our North Naples, FL practice. The PTA will deliver comprehensive rehabilitative care to restore function, relieve pain, and improve mobility under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from PTA program.
• National PTA certification/licensure.
• Experience in a health care setting or outpatient rehabilitation clinic preferred.
• Physical stamina and fitness.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and maintains health by providing physical therapy services under supervision of a physical therapist.
• Identifies patient care issues to support a physical therapist.
• Administers treatment programs for patients.
• Documents patient care in records.
• Performs therapeutic procedures and assists patients with exercises.
• Instructs patients on regimens and wellness information.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment adhering to infection-control policies.
• Keeps knowledge up-to-date through continuing education and professional involvement.
