Job summary

Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide patient-centered care in the Macon, GA area. This PRN Neuro position offers flexible hours to support home and community-based rehabilitation for individuals with neurological conditions.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited PTA degree with Georgia licensure, and demonstrates strong planning, communication, and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Must have an accredited PTA degree and licensure in Georgia.
• Prefer Bachelor's or Master's in PTA.
• Must be Georgia-licensed PTA in good standing.
• Knowledge of physical therapy principles, equipment use, OSHA and infection control.
• Experience in neurological conditions is strongly preferred.
• Excellent planning, organizational, writing, and time management skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to: evaluation and treatment of impairments, including lower extremity function, mobility, vestibular skills, adaptive equipment needs, and environmental safety needs.

We are looking for experienced Physical Therapy Assistants who want to provide truly patient-centered care in the Macon, GA, and surrounding areas - with PRN positions available. Our interdisciplinary teams create integrated treatment plans that are practiced in patients' homes and communities. Our therapists are creative in their approach and incorporate a variety of activities to ignite interest while addressing functional goals. This evidence-based approach results in durable outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program required, Bachelor's or Master's in the same discipline preferred
• Must be certified in the state of Georgia
• Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and practices, how to use the physical therapy equipment, and OSHA and infection control regulations required
• Experience in the treatment of neurologically related physical disorders is strongly preferred
• Excellent planning, organizational, writing, and time management skills are required
• Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers is a must
• A valid driver's license is required
