Job summary

Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners in Charleston, SC is seeking an experienced Physical Therapy Assistant for Neuro-focused PRN work in patients' homes and communities.

You will join an interdisciplinary team delivering integrated treatment plans with a strong emphasis on functional goals and durable outcomes. Requires an Associate Degree in PT Assisting and Georgia licensure; prior neurological rehab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program required; Bachelor's or Master's in the same discipline preferred.
• Must be certified in the state of Georgia.
• Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and practices, how to use the physical therapy equipment, and OSHA and infection control regulations required.
• Experience in the treatment of neurologically related physical disorders is strongly preferred. Excellent planning, organizational, writing, and time management skills are required.
• Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers is a must.
• A valid driver's license is required.

• Evaluation and treatment of impairments, including lower extremity function, mobility, vestibular skills, adaptive equipment needs, and environmental safety needs.

We are looking for experienced Physical Therapy Assistants who want to provide truly patient-centered care in the Charleston, SC, and surrounding areas - with PRN positions available. Our interdisciplinary teams create integrated treatment plans that are practiced in patients' homes and communities.
