Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist Assistant (Journey Traveler) must be able to travel nationwide for 13-week assignments, providing physical therapy treatments to enhance patient independence under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include:

• Participating in patient care and team meetings
• Delivering rehab services per established care plans
• Collaborating with team members to implement patient programs
• Assisting with tests, evaluations, and complex procedures
• Instructing patients and caregivers in therapy techniques
• Maintaining accurate documentation
• Ensuring equipment is maintained and reporting repairs
• Providing high-quality, compassionate patient service
• Implementing individualized treatment plans
• Administering therapies such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, functional training, and modalities

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program (APTA certified)
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of practice
• Willingness to travel and reside temporarily in various locations

Posted Salary Range: USD $45.00 - USD $50.00 per hour
