Freeman Health System is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for the Inpatient Rehab Unit at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, MO. This full-time position supports patient recovery by following physician-referred treatment plans and coordinating care within a dynamic inpatient rehab team.

The PTA will deliver therapy, document progress, and assist with discharge planning while supervising supportive staff. A Missouri PTA license is required to practice in this setting.

• Active Missouri Physical Therapy Assistant license is required.

Responsabilidades

• Independently follows a treatment plan based on therapist/goal-directed objectives.
• Delivers and documents care, and provides discharge planning on all physician-referred patients.
• Supervises and directs the treatment and activity of support staff.
• Performs tasks in compliance with the Professional Code of Ethics, standards of practice, state/national regulations, hospital standards, and department policies/procedures.
