Job summary

The McGuire Group is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for full-time work in Buffalo, NY. Pay $23–$25 per hour, with weekly pay and retirement options. This role supports the Physical Therapist by delivering therapy modalities, therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, and documentation under supervision.

Required: AAS in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program, NYS registration, CPR, ability to lift 50–100 lbs, and strong communication. CPR preferred.

• Certificate of Registration in New York State.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Apply physical therapy modalities and therapeutic exercise.
• Provide gait and balance training with specialized equipment.
• Document progress and communicate with the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Assist with evaluative techniques and care planning.
