Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapy Assistant in North Carolina.
• Comfortable using email and interacting with Internet applications.
• Knowledge of practice management and word processing software.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Measure the patient’s motor function.
• Record strength and muscle performance.
• Assist physical therapists in developing treatment plans.
• Observe patients and write progress reports.
• Evaluate the capability of patients to function independently.
• Assist patients in carrying out specific exercises.
• Treat patients with techniques such as stretching and massage.
• Help patients with equipment and devices, like walkers.
• Educate patients on如何 exercise properly to strengthen muscle and mobility.
• Teach patients and their family members what to do at home after treatment.
