Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide treatment, exercise instruction, and patient education within an established care plan.

You will supervise treatment plans, instruct active and passive exercises, observe patient responses, educate families, and coordinate care with the healthcare team, including weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• Current license, registration, or certification to practice in the state (MA).
• CPR certification and valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to work in diverse home environments; weekend rotations may be required.

• Instruct patients in active/passive exercises, gait, ADLs, transfers and prosthetic training.

• Instruct patients in active/passive exercises, gait, functional activities, ADLs, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses and condition changes, coordinating care with healthcare team members.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques within scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Current license, registration, or certification to practice in the state.
• CPR certification, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in diverse home environments, including availability for weekend rotations.
