Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care seeks an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for home health visits in the Concord Visist office serving adult and geriatric patients in Lebanon, NH and surrounding territories. The PTA will assist clients to attain or maintain optimal physical well-being through treatment, tests, education and interventions under a licensed Physical Therapist.

Candidates must hold NH licensure, have completed a two-year PTA program, and have at least one year of PTA experience

Qualifications

• Active licensure/certification in New Hampshire.
• Graduated from a two-year PTA program approved by the APTA or equivalent.
• At least one year of PTA experience and a satisfactory proficiency exam if required by date.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in achieving or maintaining physical well-being.
• Provide treatment, tests, client education and interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Job description

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant, PTA, for a full-time or part-time opportunity performing home health visits for our Concord Visist office.This office services adult and geriatric patients on a per visit basis in territories throughout Lebanon, NH.

As a home care Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) you will assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well being by providing treatment, tests, client education and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Each Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) must:

• Have current licensure or certification in the state of New Hampshire
• Have graduated from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma, or
• Have one year of appropriate experience as an Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977
• Have at least one year’s work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
