Job summary

PruittHealth in Athens, GA is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support our rehabilitation team in delivering care under the direction of licensed therapists.

You will assist with the plan, perform clinical tasks, document timely, and follow policies while maintaining patient safety and quality care. Licensure in GA and CAPTE-accredited program are required; relocation opportunities may be available.

Qualifications

• Valid professional license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of CAPTE-accredited PTA program; if foreign-trained, equivalence evaluation required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing the Physical Therapy care plan/treatment as prescribed by the evaluating therapist and physician.
• Perform clinical tasks, communication, and documentation timely and accurately per policy.
• Follow established policies and procedures related to the scope of practice.
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care.
• Complete all required orientation, in-services, and trainings timely and successfully.
• Perform other related duties as necessary and as directed by supervisor.
