Creative Solutions in Healthcare - South in Texas is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team. You will provide patient-centered care to help residents improve mobility and quality of life under PT supervision.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas PTA license, has experience in SNF or long-term care, and is proficient with Net Health documentation. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas Physical Therapy Assistant license.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Current knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices.
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
• Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy treatments under PT supervision to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide skilled PT services per physician orders.
• Relay information/referrals to the PT in a timely manner.
• Modify plans of care under PT supervision as needed.
• Measure and record motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Monitor responses to interventions and adjust approaches with the team.
• Provide education to patients, families and caregivers.
• Ensure timely documentation per policies and regulations.
• Attend required Rehab Director meetings.

Join Our Team as a Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals. In this role, you will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve positive outcomes and improve their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life.

Your Impact as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

• Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing

• Provide skilled physical therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of a Physical Therapist

• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Physical Therapist

• Implement and modify patients' physical therapy plans of care under PT supervision

• Measure and record patients' motor function, strength, and muscle performance

• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and modify approaches as clinically appropriate in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team

• Provide clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers

• Ensure documentation is completed thoroughly and timely in compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations

• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care experience preferred

• Current knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices
