Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team.

You will provide person-centered care to help residents improve mobility, strength, and overall quality of life under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. The ideal candidate holds a valid Texas PTA license, demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills, and has experience in SNF or long-term care.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas PTA license.
• Experience in SNF or long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of current physical therapy treatment practices.

Responsibilities

• Administer medically prescribed PTA treatments under PT supervision.
• Provide skilled PTA services per physician orders.
• Relay information and referrals to the Physical Therapist.
• Implement and modify plans of care under PT supervision.
• Record and measure patients' motor function and strength.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust interventions with the team.
• Educate patients, family members, and caregivers.
• Ensure timely and compliant documentation.
• Attend required rehab department meetings.

Join Our Team as a Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals. In this role, you will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve positive outcomes and improve their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life.

Your Impact as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

• Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing
• Provide skilled physical therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Physical Therapist
• Implement and modify patients’ physical therapy plans of care under PT supervision
• Measure and record patients’ motor function, strength, and muscle performance
• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and modify approaches as clinically appropriate in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Provide clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers
• Ensure documentation is completed thoroughly and timely in compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Active and valid Texas Physical Therapy Assistant license
• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care experience preferred
• Current knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
• Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
