A leading healthcare provider seeks a Staff Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver physical therapy services under supervision. Responsibilities include patient screening and education, as well as utilizing therapy modalities for rehabilitation. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Staff Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) is responsible for providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a physical therapist in accordance with the patients' plan of care. The PTA will screen patients, educate patients and their families, and utilize exercises and physical therapy modalities in treatment and rehabilitation of individuals with medical problems, health-related conditions, or developmental disabilities that limit their movement or ability to perform functional activities. Some travel may be required between facilities and for various job functions. This summary highlights the primary duties and responsibilities but is not exhaustive of all tasks assigned.
